Just bought these Alessandro/Grado labs headphones (MS-1), they are essentially modded Grado SR80is with the high-end tweaked and the sound balanced. Sound great but to quote: they look like ‘artifacts from World War 2’ - well, I’m only planning to use them at home as I have some excellent (albeit discontinued) Denon C751s that are my portable ‘phones. My next purchase will be a lil headphone amp to go with my iPod touch, possibly a FiiO E5.
